Valuing Springs Ecosystem Services to Inform Sustainable Forested Rangeland Management
tmsr was commissioned by Julie M. Mueller, Ph.D., Chief Economic Advisor to the President of Northern Arizona University (NAU) to create sixteen illustrations.
The illustrations were used in a survey for a National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) environmental and natural resource grant with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The grant’s intent is to estimate willingness to pay for attributes of springs in the Coconino and Kaibab national forests using a choice experiment. The survey was delivered online via Qualtrics and sent to a national audience.
