The Why
Sip, Drink & Be Merry – The Origin Story
I've been a Flagstaff resident since 1982. I raised my three children here as I evolved a career and business in graphic and web design, tmsr Design Delivery. I love what I do in this space for my clients. I say that I bring ACTION to their vision, and that I do.
In 2013, I was blessed to be thrown into the chaos of grandmotherhood. Oh, what joys and inspirations they are! I started my very first digital art in 2019 out of a lifelong desire to express the watercolor visions in my head. But by the end of 2019, we were all plunged into a scary Moment in Time in our World, the COVID-19 Pandemic. Perhaps as a distraction to what was happening elsewhere, I absorbed myself in a creative endeavor, an 11-volume children's book series I illustrated called "The Chase Series," completed in 2024.
Although the books in my head aren't done yet, my attention turned to growing my watercolor skills in the Flora Series. As these pieces evolved, I realized the best art is "usable" art. With the ubiquitous presence of daily drinks today, wouldn't an art-inspired mug be best appreciated?
So, I throw these mugs to the wind, like pixie dust of Happy, to see where they land.
For the joy they might bring – Sip, Drink & Be Merry!

P.S. There is a rectangle-enclosed character on each of my designs. That is called a "chop," and mine symbolizes the Morning Star. It is [part of] who I am, burning brightest in the early morning. I use it as my artistic signature.
